About Me- How Rose & Ledger Co. Began

Eight years ago, my husband started his own business, and like many small business owners, he poured his energy into growth—but keeping up with the books? That was another story. A couple of years in, he found himself overwhelmed and buried in financial chaos, and that’s when he turned to me for help.

As I dug into the numbers, untangled transactions, and rebuilt his financial records, I realized something—I actually enjoyed bookkeeping. There was something deeply satisfying about making sense of the mess, organizing data, and providing clarity and control over the finances. At the same time, a close friend, who was a bookkeeper, saw my passion for problem-solving and encouraged me to turn it into a business.

From there, I decided to formalize my expertise by enrolling in accounting courses at my local college and earning my QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification. Now, as the owner of Rose & Ledger Co., I help business owners avoid the financial stress my husband once faced, giving them clarity, confidence, and peace of mind in their bookkeeping.

And as a mother of seven, I’ve mastered the art of organization, efficiency, and adaptability—skills that translate seamlessly into managing business finances with precision and care.
